Automated AI-Driven CV Screening and Notification Workflow

This n8n workflow streamlines the recruitment process by integrating AI analysis, automated communication, and data management for candidate evaluation. When a candidate submits their application through a WordPress form, the workflow triggers to extract and analyze the candidate’s resume, automatically generate an AI-based compatibility rating, and send confirmation and review notifications.

The process begins with a form trigger, capturing applicant details and uploaded CV. The resume PDF is converted into JSON format for processing. An AI model (Google Gemini) then reviews the candidate’s resume against predefined criteria to generate a detailed compatibility rating and insights on the candidate’s suitability.

Once the AI analysis is complete, the workflow sends an acknowledgment email to the candidate, confirming receipt of their CV. Simultaneously, an email is sent to HR with all candidate details, including the AI’s evaluation, to facilitate quick review.

Furthermore, the candidate data, including AI ratings, are stored in a Google Sheet for record-keeping and further analysis. This workflow enhances efficiency in recruitment by automating resume screening, communication, and data management, making it ideal for HR teams seeking a streamlined and intelligent hiring process.
