It then checks if an Excel report for the project already exists; if not, it performs an extraction and conversion of project files (such as Revit files) into Excel format using an external converter executable. Once the data is prepared, it loads project and validation rule files, both in Excel format, and performs an in-depth validation. This involves comparing project data against predefined rules, highlighting discrepancies with color coding, and generating a comprehensive validation report. The report is saved and automatically opened for review. Additionally, the workflow includes troubleshooting notes and guides for common issues, ensuring seamless execution.
