Automated Job Search and Application Workflow

This n8n workflow automates the process of searching for jobs, analyzing them, and preparing tailored application materials, streamlining job hunting for users. It begins with a scheduled trigger to initiate the workflow at predefined intervals. The workflow fetches job listings from Adzuna, splits the data to process individual job posts, and extracts key details such as job titles.

Next, the workflow uses OpenAI’s language models to score each job’s relevance, summarize the job descriptions, and generate personalized cover letters. These summaries and cover letters are then logged into Google Sheets, providing an organized overview of the applications.

Additionally, the process can be extended to send emails directly from Gmail, attaching the cover letters for each job, thereby enabling users to apply for jobs efficiently without manual effort. This automation is particularly useful for job seekers who want to save time, manage multiple applications effectively, and ensure tailored outreach for each opportunity.
