Automated Patient Preparation and Follow-up System with GPT-4

This n8n workflow automates the entire patient management process, from pre-procedure education to post-procedure follow-up. The workflow is triggered by a Google Calendar event, which could be a scheduled patient appointment. It uses OpenAI’s GPT-4 to generate personalized pre-procedure guides, which are then sent via Twilio (SMS) to the patient, ensuring they are well-prepared. After a set waiting period post-procedure, the system generates follow-up messages with GPT-4 to assess the patient’s recovery or answer additional questions, and sends these via Twilio. Additionally, staff members are notified via Slack about the procedure and follow-up. This comprehensive automation improves engagement, reduces manual effort, and enhances patient care continuity.
