Automated Invoice Generation and Dispatch Workflow

This n8n workflow automates the invoicing process triggered by project status changes in Google Sheets. When a project’s status is updated to ‘Ready for Invoice’, the workflow initiates an API request to generate a new invoice via Invoice Ninja. Once the invoice is created, it is automatically emailed to the client using Gmail. After sending the invoice, the workflow updates the project status in Google Sheets to ‘Invoiced’, ensuring real-time tracking of invoice progress. This seamless automation reduces manual effort, minimizes errors, and accelerates the billing process, making it ideal for small businesses, freelancers, or any team managing multiple client projects.
