This n8n workflow streamlines the process of converting PDFs stored in Google Drive into professional draft summaries and documents, with automated email notifications. It begins by monitoring a specific Google Drive folder for new PDF files. When a file is detected, the workflow downloads the PDF and extracts its text content. The extracted text is then aggregated, and an OpenAI model analyzes the content to extract key information such as names, dates, and relevant details.

Next, a detailed, formal draft of the document is generated using OpenAI, which is then inserted into a new Google Document within the same folder. The workflow also creates a concise email summary highlighting the critical points of the document. This summary, along with the link to the generated draft, is emailed to the designated recipient, providing a complete and efficient automation for handling and summarizing PDF documents.
