Automated Processing of Bank Email PDFs and Calendar Updates

somdn_product_page

This n8n workflow automates the extraction and processing of bank statement PDFs received via email, updating associated Google Calendar events and Google Sheets. It streamlines financial record-keeping and appointment management by integrating email triggers, PDF extraction, data organization, and calendar updates.

The process begins with multiple Gmail triggers monitoring different bank accounts (Sinopac, CTBC, Fubon, E.SUN, DBS, Taishin), each linked to specific PDF extraction nodes. These nodes extract data from incoming bank statements, which are then organized into a unified structure. The workflow also includes manual trigger nodes for testing purposes and a webhook to initiate actions.

Once data is organized, the workflow creates or updates Google Calendar events, reflecting the latest transaction or appointment status. It also updates a Google Sheets document with payment statuses, ensuring real-time financial tracking. Additionally, sticky notes are used for internal annotations or notes.

This setup is particularly useful for businesses or individuals who receive multiple monthly bank statements and need an automated, centralized system for managing financial documents, appointments, and related statuses, saving time and reducing manual data entry.
