Automated Weekly Animal Rights Bill Briefings and Action Alerts

somdn_product_page

This n8n workflow automates the process of gathering, analyzing, and acting on U.S. House bills related to animal welfare every week. It starts with a scheduled trigger every Monday at 8 AM to fetch the latest legislative bills from the House of Representatives’ website. The workflow extracts PDF links of bills, downloads them, and converts the PDFs into Base64 format for analysis.

Using the OpenRouter Chat Model with Gemini, it analyzes each bill from an animal rights perspective, evaluating their impact and relevance. The analysis includes scoring the level of harm or protection animals receive, and determining the urgency and activism stance. Critical bills are filtered based on relevance and priority scores.

Further research enriches each bill with additional context, including sponsor details, lobbying influence, and advocacy activities, by referencing a specialized subworkflow. The data is then aggregated, and a comprehensive email briefing is generated, highlighting the most urgent bills and providing actionable campaign points for activists. The workflow concludes by sending this email to the activists’ mailing list, enabling rapid response and advocacy.

This workflow is highly useful for animal rights organizations and activists who want to stay informed about upcoming legislative developments and mobilize swiftly to influence policy. It streamlines legislative monitoring and advocacy efforts into an automated weekly cycle, ensuring timely and targeted activism.
