Automated Publishing of Stories Starting with ‘Release’

somdn_product_page

This n8n workflow automates the process of fetching and publishing stories from Storyblok that start with the prefix ‘release’. It streamlines content management by automatically identifying draft stories with a specific naming pattern and publishing them without manual intervention.

Here’s how the workflow functions:

1. The process begins manually, triggered by clicking the ‘execute’ button, allowing for on-demand execution.

2. The ‘Storyblok’ node connects to the Storyblok CMS via the management API and retrieves all stories that start with ‘release’. This filtering ensures only relevant stories are processed.

3. The retrieved stories are then passed to the ‘Storyblok1’ node, which takes the story IDs and publishes each story using the management API.

This automation is particularly useful for teams frequently releasing updates, where readiness status is confirmed in the naming convention, enabling seamless publishing of multiple stories at once. It reduces manual effort, speeds up content deployment, and maintains consistency in content management workflows.
