Automated Strava Activity Description & Title Generator

This n8n workflow is designed to automate the process of enhancing Strava activities with AI-generated titles and descriptions, making your workout logs more engaging and personalized. It integrates several nodes working seamlessly together to fetch, process, analyze, and update Strava activities. The workflow begins with a Strava trigger that activates whenever a new activity is created. The activity data is then processed through custom JavaScript code, which flattens complex JSON data into a readable text format suitable for AI input. An AI language model (via OpenRouter) receives this formatted data and generates a catchy title and a motivational description based on activity highlights such as distance, duration, weather, and personal impressions. The results are extracted, split into relevant fields, and then automatically updated back into Strava, enriching each activity post with engaging summaries. This workflow is useful for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, or cycling clubs who want to automate the storytelling aspect of their training logs, impress followers on social media, or simply keep tracking lively and inspiring.
