Automated Geofence Creation for Salesforce Work Orders

This n8n workflow automates the process of creating geofence zones in Geotab based on new Salesforce Work Order records. When a new work order with valid location data is created, the workflow triggers a sequence of actions: it extracts and prepares data, authenticates with Geotab, calculates geofence points, and creates a zone in Geotab with active dates set for 60 days from the current date. Subsequently, it updates Salesforce with the new Geotab Zone ID and sends email notifications to relevant teams regarding success or missing location data. This automation streamlines operational logistics, ensuring accurate geofencing for field operations, and reduces manual effort in maintaining geographic data consistency.
