This n8n workflow automates the process of generating, posting, and managing LinkedIn content directly from Google Sheets. It is designed for content creators, marketers, and professionals who want to maintain a consistent and engaging LinkedIn presence without manual effort.

The workflow begins by monitoring a Google Sheets document for new or pending post topics. When a new topic with a ‘Pending’ status is detected, it triggers an AI-powered content creation process using OpenAI’s GPT-4 model. The AI is prompted to craft a compelling LinkedIn post, including an engaging hook, informative paragraphs, hashtags, emojis, and a question to boost engagement, all formatted appropriately for LinkedIn.

Once the content is generated, it is formatted for proper posting. The workflow retrieves the user details from LinkedIn via an API call to authenticate and identify the account. Subsequently, it publishes the main post to the user’s LinkedIn profile and iterates through a list of LinkedIn groups retrieved from Google Sheets, posting the content to each group individually.

After successfully posting, the workflow updates the status of the post in Google Sheets from ‘Pending’ to ‘Posted,’ facilitating easy tracking and management of posts. The entire process ensures seamless content creation, multi-channel distribution, and status tracking, making it ideal for scaling LinkedIn activity effortlessly.
